Carved & Gilded Eagle
Eagle 32″ tall, 88″ high with stand
Ref. No. 100308_010
The carved oak eagle likely was part of the décor at a fraternal organization or federal building during the last quarter of the 19th century. Condition of the eagle is good with minor chips to the gilding but no repairs. The oak two-piece stand is stressed at the top of base where the column rests, otherwise it is in good condition in its original finish.
