This unsigned & unframed oil painting from the estate of the artist. A notarized certificate of authenticity accompanies this work validating from the estate of and painted by Peter Williams. Foreground appears to be fish vendors in an open market at San Francisco’s Chinatown. This example one of five paintings found within the estate of the same size and palette depicting different perspectives within the same open market. One of the five included within the horde has a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge over the horizon which confirms location. This work was listed erroneously by the auctioneer as a European market.
