This vane in fine old surface. The 1893 Fisk catalog shows a sketch of this vane In two sizes named Ethan Allen. That not necessarily a cinch Fisk made the vane as different companies occasionally copied competitors designs. This the larger size with a cast zinc head and sheet copper hollow body construction. Three short areas of crack restoration: pole joining the proper right thigh, base of tail at body, & left rear shin. The trio of repairs are visible in detail images having never been in-painted.
