Only a few slide lid boxes are known from this maker though dome tops are plentiful. The light blue ground color is a welcome variant with white lines and salmon pistils. A well preserved example with the only surface wear to the front outside top edge of the pull component at the lid and very minimal paint loss to top edge of either side. Has not suffered a cleaning with scattered light surface grime. A 3 1/4” x 1/8” tapering sliver of wood is missing at a corner of the slide lid. When closed there is a 1/8” gap reveal for about an inch in length which can be adjusted not to show by nudging the lid to the direction of the space. Really remarkable state of preservation with paint still intact on the heads of the fasteners. One may wish to view support images of every exposure for a true sense of condition.
