This work, a view of Irvine from a Kentucky River perspective, is signed Paul Sawyier to viewer’s lower left. This example chronicles a view in the artist’s furthest upstream trek which resulted in works that are known to have survived. The trip was likely not an extended stay as few examples of Sawyier’s work are known from this river pool.
Excellent condition with minimal, if any fade, and housed in an associated period frame. This image has never been printed with copyright privileges extending to next owner.
