Faulkner during the decade of the 1970s would at times set his easel at Boone’s Antiques near Lexington, KY. and paint. Boone’s niche was a containers importer of British Isles antiques destined to be sold wholesale to the antique trade. A large portion of Henry’s clientele were antique dealers and those who furnished their homes with antiques so this relationship proved beneficial (at least to Henry). Kathy & Ray Mongenas of Loveland, Ohio were and are antique dealers who frequently visited Boone’s in the day where they purchased this still life from Henry. Housed in the original repurposed frame. A nice work by the artist in fine condition.
